Art in the Barn Jr. (Ages 5-7)

Unleash your creativity in our Art in the Barn Jr. class, where young artists can explore various art techniques and materials in a rustic, inspiring farm setting. Guided by passionate instructors, students will create unique projects while learning the fundamentals of art. This class provides a nurturing environment where imagination thrives, and every child can discover their artistic potential.

In Art in the Barn, students will create a variety of projects that connect art with nature and farm life. Some examples include:

  • Nature-inspired Paintings: Using leaves, flowers, and other natural elements as inspiration or even as tools, students will create beautiful, nature-themed artwork.
  • Clay Sculptures: Students will craft their own animal figures or farm-inspired sculptures using clay, learning the basics of 3D art.
  • Mixed Media Collages: Combining different materials like fabric, paper, and natural elements, students will create unique collages that reflect the textures and colors of the farm.

Schedule

Days and Times: Thursdays from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM ages 5-7. Session 1: August 14th, 21st, and 28th. September 4th, 11th, and 18th. Session 2: October 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th, November 6th and 13th.

Cost Per Class: $150 for 6-weeks

Sarah Dibeler, a Florida native, is a dedicated educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Florida Gulf Coast University. With six years of experience working with children and three teaching endorsements, Sarah is committed to creating enriching learning environments that inspire young minds to thrive. Passionate about personalized instruction, she believes in empowering students to reach their full potential.

Tiani Rosado is a painter and versatile artist based in Fort Myers, Fl. Tiani’s artwork is known for it’s bright colors and dream – like subjects. When she is not showcasing her artwork at local shows and galleries, she is teaching classes for the youth. With a background in education and 8 years of experience making and selling her artwork, Tiani provides the perfect safe space to create, have fun, and learn something new about art.
