Drawing and Painting

Dive into the world of drawing and painting in our exciting new class designed for students ages 8 and up. This program allows young artists to refine their skills and explore various techniques in both mediums, fostering creativity and self-expression in a supportive environment. Guided by passionate instructors, students will have the opportunity to bring their artistic visions to life through hands-on projects and skill-building exercises.

In this class, students will:

  • Develop foundational and advanced techniques in drawing and painting, such as shading, perspective, and color theory.
  • Experiment with different materials like graphite, charcoal, watercolors, and acrylic paints.
  • Create projects that reflect their unique artistic styles, from landscapes to abstract art.

Whether your student is just beginning or looking to enhance their skills, this class is a perfect fit for nurturing their artistic potential.

Schedule

Days and Times: Starting August 11th: Mondays from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM ages 8 and up.

Siblings: Do you have children in different age groups who both want to do art? Contact Miss Sarah to discuss the best session option for your students!

Cost Per Class: $200 for 8-weeks, $375 for 17-weeks

Step Up: If you will be using Step Up for Students to cover the cost of class, please proceed to the checkout and use code “stepup”. This will reserve your spot for the class. Payment can be made directly through the EMA marketplace. Search for “Gulf Coast Scholars” and select the correct amount. Please note that registration and payment must be submitted before the class begins.

Sarah Dibeler, a Florida native, is a dedicated educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Florida Gulf Coast University. With six years of experience working with children and three teaching endorsements, Sarah is committed to creating enriching learning environments that inspire young minds to thrive. Passionate about personalized instruction, she believes in empowering students to reach their full potential.

Tiani Rosado is a painter and versatile artist based in Fort Myers, Fl. Tiani’s artwork is known for it’s bright colors and dream – like subjects. When she is not showcasing her artwork at local shows and galleries, she is teaching classes for the youth. With a background in education and 8 years of experience making and selling her artwork, Tiani provides the perfect safe space to create, have fun, and learn something new about art.
