Drawing and Painting

Drawing & Painting is a creative and inspiring class designed for students ages 8 and up to explore artistic expression through a variety of drawing and painting techniques. This hands-on class encourages creativity, focus, and confidence as students develop their own unique artistic style.

In this class, students will:

  • Learn foundational art skills such as sketching, shading, blending, and color mixing.

  • Experiment with a range of materials, including graphite, charcoal, watercolor, tempera, and acrylic paints.

  • Explore art concepts such as composition, perspective, and value.

  • Study famous artists and use their techniques as inspiration for original artwork.

  • Build a personal collection of finished pieces that showcase creativity and growth.

Schedule

Days and Times: Fridays- January 16th-May 22. Grades 3-5: 9:30-10:30. Grades 6-12: 12:00-1:00

Cost Per Class: $450 for 18-weeks

Sarah Dibeler, a Florida native, is a dedicated educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Florida Gulf Coast University. With six years of experience working with children and three teaching endorsements, Sarah is committed to creating enriching learning environments that inspire young minds to thrive. Passionate about personalized instruction, she believes in empowering students to reach their full potential.

Tiani Rosado is a painter and versatile artist based in Fort Myers, Fl. Tiani’s artwork is known for it’s bright colors and dream – like subjects. When she is not showcasing her artwork at local shows and galleries, she is teaching classes for the youth. With a background in education and 8 years of experience making and selling her artwork, Tiani provides the perfect safe space to create, have fun, and learn something new about art.
