Scholars Club
Scholars Club is a well-rounded enrichment experience that invites homeschool students to dive into learning through creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on exploration. Throughout the program, children rotate through four exciting subjects—Academics, Art, STEAM, and Home Economics—to build a balance of practical knowledge and creative skills.
Students are grouped by age (K–2nd grade and 3–6th grade) to ensure every lesson is tailored to their level. Each week, groups alternate between two passionate instructors who bring their unique strengths to the classroom:
-
Mrs. Barbosa leads Academics and Home Economics, helping students grow in literacy and math while also teaching everyday life skills like cooking, cleaning, and sewing.
-
Ms. Heidi teaches Art and STEAM, sparking imagination through art projects, experiments, and innovative challenges that connect creativity with critical thinking.
During Scholars Club, students will:
-
Strengthen foundational academic skills through interactive lessons.
-
Explore science and engineering concepts through hands-on STEAM projects.
-
Express creativity through painting, building, and designing.
-
Develop life skills that encourage independence and confidence.
Blending academics with creativity, Scholars Club provides a fun and supportive environment where students can learn by doing—discovering new interests, building friendships, and growing as lifelong learners.
