Weather & Outdoor Learning
Wild Sprouts is an outdoor-integrated program. Classes will continue in light rain, heat, or cooler temperatures
when it is safe to do so. In the event of severe weather or unsafe conditions, adjustments may be made to the
daily schedule, activities, or location. Families will be notified of any significant changes via ClassDojo.
Attendance, Arrival & Dismissal
Drop-off begins no earlier than 8:45 AM. Staff will be available to greet students and support smooth transitions.
Dismissal is at 1:45 PM. A five (5) minute grace period is provided. A late fee of $1 per minute will apply after 1:50
PM. Written notice is required if someone other than a parent or regular guardian will be picking up a student.
Parents should notify staff in advance if a student will be absent or tardy. Regular attendance supports routine,
confidence, and community within the program.
Communication & Contact Information
Absences, tardies, and other class-related matters should be communicated via ClassDojo to either Ms. Becky or
Ms. Priscilla. ClassDojo is the primary and preferred method of communication for day-to-day classroom matters.
For program-related questions, concerns, or tuition inquiries, please email Miss Sarah at [email protected].
For emergencies or urgent matters during program hours, families may call or text (941) 479-8639. Routine class

Schedule Adjustments
Gulf Coast Scholars reserves the right to adjust daily schedules, locations, staffing, or activities as needed for
safety, weather, special events, or program needs. These adjustments do not warrant tuition refunds or make-up
days.
Personal Belongings
Gulf Coast Scholars is not responsible for lost, damaged, or misplaced personal items. Families are encouraged
to label all student belongings and avoid sending valuables to class.
Program Commitment & Tuition Policies
Wild Sprouts is an 18-week program commitment. By enrolling, families agree to participate for the full program
term. Disenrollment at any time does not excuse responsibility for paying the full amount of tuition.
Tuition is due on the first of each month. A three (3) day grace period is provided. After the grace period, a 10%
late fee will be applied. If tuition is more than two (2) weeks late, students will not be permitted to attend class until
the balance is paid in full. After three (3) late payment occurrences, the student may be deemed ineligible to
continue in the program.
Behavior Expectations & Program Guidelines
Wild Sprouts promotes a respectful, safe, and supportive learning environment. Our approach includes gentle
redirection, positive reinforcement, and collaborative problem-solving. Repeated disruptive or unsafe behavior
may result in dismissal from the program.
Gulf Coast Scholars reserves the right to remove a student who does not follow classroom expectations or
program guidelines. In the event of removal or expulsion, tuition is not excused and families remain financially
responsible for the full program tuition.
Health, Safety & Program Policies
Parents must disclose all medical conditions, allergies, or special needs. Students must remain home when ill.
Gulf Coast Scholars reserves the right to send home any student showing signs of illness.
Participation may include outdoor activities and interaction with animals. Parents assume all risks and release
Gulf Coast Scholars from liability for injury or loss.
Photos or videos of students may be used for promotional purposes unless a written opt-out request is submitted
prior to the first day of class.
All curriculum and materials are the intellectual property of Gulf Coast Scholars and may not be reproduced
without written permission.
Gulf Coast Scholars reserves the right to make schedule or curriculum adjustments as needed. Major changes will
