About Us

Gulf Coast Scholars offers dynamic and skill-building classes for middle and high school homeschool students. Our programs combine academic enrichment with creative expression, real-world application, and hands-on learning. From science labs and 3D art to entrepreneurship and home economics, students in grades 6–12 can explore their interests, deepen their knowledge, and gain valuable life skills in a supportive and engaging environment.

Homeschool Sewing

Sewing introduces students to the basics of machine sewing, building confidence through fun, hands-on projects in a creative and supportive setting. Recommended for students ages 8 and up.

Home Economics

Home Economics is a hands-on class where students learn essential life skills like cooking, cleaning, sewing, and budgeting through fun, real-world activities that build confidence and independence. Recommended for students ages 11–16.

Kidpreneur Class

Kidpreneur Class is an engaging, real-world class where students explore the fundamentals of entrepreneurship through creativity, critical thinking, and hands-on business building. From brainstorming ideas to launching a mock business, students will gain practical skills in branding, budgeting, and more. Recommended for students ages 11–17.

Art in the Barn (Ages 8+)

Art in the Barn (Ages 8+) is a creative class where students explore painting, drawing, and mixed media in a unique farm setting. Recommended for students ages 8 and up.

Open Art Lab: K-12

Open Art Lab is a flexible, student-directed art class where middle and high school students explore their creative interests through independent projects and open-ended experimentation. With access to a variety of materials and guidance from an instructor, students are encouraged to develop their own ideas, refine techniques, and express themselves through art. Recommended for students in grades K–12.
