Home Economics is a practical and empowering class designed for students ages to develop essential life skills for everyday living. This program helps kids build confidence and independence through real-world lessons in cooking, budgeting, sewing, cleaning, and personal organization—all in an engaging, hands-on environment.

In this class, students will:

  • Learn to plan and prepare simple, no-heat meals and snacks safely and independently.
  • Master laundry care, stain removal, and basic clothing repair through sewing and mending projects.
  • Explore personal finance with lessons on budgeting, grocery planning, and smart spending.
  • Build effective routines for cleaning, organization, and household management.
  • Strengthen problem-solving and time management skills through interactive simulations and real-life challenges.

Perfect for middle and high school learners, Home Economics equips students with valuable tools they can use now and in the future—helping them grow into capable, confident, and self-sufficient young adults!

Days and Times: Fridays- January 16th-May 22.

Kinder-2nd Grade: 12:00-1:00

3rd-5th Grade: 1:15-2:15

6th-12th Grade: 10:45-11:45

Cost Per Class: $450 for 18-weeks + $25 supply fee
