Intro. to Psychology

Introduction to Psychology is an engaging and thought-provoking class designed for students ages 10+ to explore the basics of human behavior and the way the mind works. This interactive class encourages curiosity, self-awareness, and critical thinking as students begin to understand emotions, thoughts, and actions in themselves and others.

In this class, students will:

  • Explore key psychology concepts such as emotions, memory, personality, and perception.
  • Participate in fun, age-appropriate experiments and interactive activities.
  • Learn how the brain influences behavior, decision-making, and learning.
  • Develop observation and critical thinking skills through real-world examples and discussions.
  • Build greater self-awareness, empathy, and understanding of others.

Schedule

Days and Times: Wednesdays 2:45-3:45pm starting the week of August 17th 2026

 

Cost Per Class: $450 for 18-weeks

With six years of experience working with children and three teaching endorsements, Sarah is committed to creating enriching learning environments that inspire young minds to thrive. Passionate about personalized instruction, she believes in empowering students to reach their full potential.

Tiani Rosado is a painter and versatile artist based in Fort Myers, Fl. Tiani’s artwork is known for it’s bright colors and dream – like subjects. When she is not showcasing her artwork at local shows and galleries, she is teaching classes for the youth. With a background in education and 8 years of experience making and selling her artwork, Tiani provides the perfect safe space to create, have fun, and learn something new about art.
