Ages 8-11 Academics

Ages 8-11 Academics is an interactive and enriching class designed for students in grades 2 through 5 to strengthen their academic skills in reading, writing, and math. This program focuses on reinforcing core concepts and building critical thinking through hands-on activities that promote curiosity and a love for learning. Students will have the opportunity to dive deeper into their studies and strengthen their academic confidence in a fun and engaging environment.

In this class, students will:

  • Enhance reading comprehension and vocabulary skills through diverse texts and group discussions.

  • Develop writing skills with a focus on structure, grammar, creative expression, and research.

  • Deepen math knowledge through problem-solving activities, multiplication, division, and word problems.

Schedule

Days and Times: Starting August 14th: Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM for students ages 8-11.

Siblings: Do you have children in different age groups who both want to do class? Contact Miss Sarah to discuss the best session option for your students!

Cost Per Class: $350 for 14-weeks

Step Up: If you will be using Step Up for Students to cover the cost of class, please proceed to the checkout and use code “stepup”. This will reserve your spot for the class. Payment can be made directly through the EMA marketplace. Search for “Gulf Coast Scholars” and select the correct amount. Please note that registration and payment must be submitted before the class begins.

Sarah Dibeler, a Florida native, is a dedicated educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Florida Gulf Coast University. With six years of experience working with children and three teaching endorsements, Sarah is committed to creating enriching learning environments that inspire young minds to thrive. Passionate about personalized instruction, she believes in empowering students to reach their full potential.

Tiani Rosado is a painter and versatile artist based in Fort Myers, Fl. Tiani’s artwork is known for it’s bright colors and dream – like subjects. When she is not showcasing her artwork at local shows and galleries, she is teaching classes for the youth. With a background in education and 8 years of experience making and selling her artwork, Tiani provides the perfect safe space to create, have fun, and learn something new about art.
