Science Lab is an exciting, hands-on class designed for curious minds in grades K–2! This class encourages young scientists to explore, experiment, and discover the wonders of the world around them through fun and engaging activities.

In this class, students will:

  • Conduct simple experiments that explore chemistry, physics, biology, and earth science.

  • Make predictions, test ideas, and observe real results through hands-on investigations.

  • Learn to think like scientists by asking questions, making observations, and recording discoveries.

  • Explore topics such as weather, plants, magnets, motion, and the five senses.

  • Build curiosity and confidence through creative problem-solving and exploration.

Perfect for budding scientists, Science Lab inspires a love of learning and discovery while helping students understand how science connects to everyday life!

Days and Times: Fridays- January 16th-May 22. 10:45-11:45

 

Instructor: Mrs. Barbosa

 

Cost Per Class: $450 for 18-weeks

Sarah Dibeler, a Florida native, is a dedicated educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Florida Gulf Coast University. With six years of experience working with children and three teaching endorsements, Sarah is committed to creating enriching learning environments that inspire young minds to thrive. Passionate about personalized instruction, she believes in empowering students to reach their full potential.

Tiani Rosado is a painter and versatile artist based in Fort Myers, Fl. Tiani’s artwork is known for it’s bright colors and dream – like subjects. When she is not showcasing her artwork at local shows and galleries, she is teaching classes for the youth. With a background in education and 8 years of experience making and selling her artwork, Tiani provides the perfect safe space to create, have fun, and learn something new about art.
