STEM in the Sun

STEM in the Sun is a fun, hands-on STEM enrichment class designed for students ages 5–10 who love to build, create, experiment, and explore. Through exciting challenges, interactive projects, and outdoor learning opportunities, students will develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills while discovering how science, technology, engineering, and math connect to the world around them.

In this class, students will:

  • Build science knowledge through hands-on experiments, investigations, and exciting STEM challenges.
  • Explore engineering concepts by designing, building, testing, and improving creative projects.
  • Strengthen math skills through measurement, data collection, problem-solving, and real-world applications.
  • Discover technology through age-appropriate activities that encourage innovation and digital literacy.
  • Develop creativity, teamwork, and perseverance while working through collaborative challenges and design projects.
  • Practice critical thinking and problem-solving skills by asking questions, testing ideas, and learning from mistakes.

Siblings: Do you have children in different age groups who both want to do class? Contact Miss Sarah to discuss the best session option for your students!

Cost: $50 per student

Sarah Dibeler, a Florida native, is a dedicated educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Florida Gulf Coast University. With six years of experience working with children and three teaching endorsements, Sarah is committed to creating enriching learning environments that inspire young minds to thrive. Passionate about personalized instruction, she believes in empowering students to reach their full potential.

Tiani Rosado is a painter and versatile artist based in Fort Myers, Fl. Tiani’s artwork is known for it’s bright colors and dream – like subjects. When she is not showcasing her artwork at local shows and galleries, she is teaching classes for the youth. With a background in education and 8 years of experience making and selling her artwork, Tiani provides the perfect safe space to create, have fun, and learn something new about art.
