Watercolor Painting

Watercolor Painting is a playful and engaging class designed for students ages 8 and up to explore the world of watercolor painting. This program introduces young artists to the basics of painting through hands-on projects that encourage creativity, curiosity, and self-expression. With plenty of opportunities for experimenting with colors, shapes, and techniques, students will develop their artistic skills in a fun, supportive environment.

In this class, students will:

  • Explore basic painting techniques using watercolors and brushes.

  • Experiment with blending colors and creating textures on paper.

  • Combine painting with imagination to create unique works of art.

Perfect for budding artists, Watercolor Painting helps children develop confidence, fine motor skills, and creativity—all while having fun and expressing their artistic ideas!

Schedule

Days and Times: Starting August 14th: Thursday 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM for students ages 8 and up.

Siblings: Do you have children in different age groups who both want to do class? Contact Miss Sarah to discuss the best session option for your students!

Cost Per Class: $350 for 14-weeks

Step Up: If you will be using Step Up for Students to cover the cost of class, please proceed to the checkout and use code “stepup”. This will reserve your spot for the class. Payment can be made directly through the EMA marketplace. Search for “Gulf Coast Scholars” and select the correct amount. Please note that registration and payment must be submitted before the class begins.

What to Bring

Supplies: All necessary supplies will be provided. Students are encouraged to purchase their own watercolor paints to use in class and at home.

Dress Code: Students should wear comfortable clothing that they don’t mind getting a bit messy during art activities.

Sarah Dibeler, a Florida native, is a dedicated educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Florida Gulf Coast University. With six years of experience working with children and three teaching endorsements, Sarah is committed to creating enriching learning environments that inspire young minds to thrive. Passionate about personalized instruction, she believes in empowering students to reach their full potential.

Tiani Rosado is a painter and versatile artist based in Fort Myers, Fl. Tiani’s artwork is known for it’s bright colors and dream – like subjects. When she is not showcasing her artwork at local shows and galleries, she is teaching classes for the youth. With a background in education and 8 years of experience making and selling her artwork, Tiani provides the perfect safe space to create, have fun, and learn something new about art.
