Sensory and Storytime

Sensory & Story Time is a fun, interactive class designed for students ages 3–5 to explore the world through engaging read-alouds, imaginative play, and hands-on sensory experiences. Each class combines a captivating story with sensory activities that encourage young learners to explore, create, and connect with what they hear and discover.

In this class, students will:

  • Enjoy engaging read-alouds featuring age-appropriate stories, characters, and themes.
  • Participate in sensory activities inspired by each week’s story.
  • Explore different textures, colors, sounds, and materials through hands-on sensory play.
  • Build language and listening skills through stories, discussions, songs, and interactive activities.
  • Develop fine-motor skills through scooping, pouring, sorting, creating, and exploring sensory materials.
  • Use their imagination and creativity to connect stories with hands-on play and exploration.

Perfect for curious little learners, Sensory & Story Time creates a cozy and engaging environment where children can listen, explore, play, and learn while developing early literacy, sensory, and social-emotional skills!

Days and Times: Tuesdays beginning September 7th 12:45-1:45 (Parent participation allowed)

 

Cost Per Class: $135 for 4-weeks

Sarah Dibeler, a Florida native, is a dedicated educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Florida Gulf Coast University. With six years of experience working with children and three teaching endorsements, Sarah is committed to creating enriching learning environments that inspire young minds to thrive. Passionate about personalized instruction, she believes in empowering students to reach their full potential.

Tiani Rosado is a painter and versatile artist based in Fort Myers, Fl. Tiani’s artwork is known for it’s bright colors and dream – like subjects. When she is not showcasing her artwork at local shows and galleries, she is teaching classes for the youth. With a background in education and 8 years of experience making and selling her artwork, Tiani provides the perfect safe space to create, have fun, and learn something new about art.
