Art Explorers

Art Explorers is a creative and inspiring class designed for students ages 5–10 to explore artistic expression through a variety of hands-on art activities and techniques. This engaging class encourages imagination, confidence, and creativity as students develop their own unique artistic style.

In this class, students will:

  • Learn foundational art skills such as drawing, coloring, painting, cutting, and crafting.
  • Experiment with a variety of materials, including crayons, markers, colored pencils, watercolor, tempera paint, and mixed media supplies.
  • Explore basic art concepts such as color, shape, texture, and composition.
  • Study simple art styles and famous artists for inspiration in age-appropriate ways.
  • Build a personal collection of finished artwork that showcases creativity, effort, and growth.

Perfect for young creators, Art Explorers gives students the opportunity to strengthen their skills, try new techniques, and express themselves through the joy of art!

Days and Times: Monday and/or Fridays 11:45pm-12:45pm starting the week of August 17th 2026

 

Cost Per Class: $450 for 18-weeks

 

Step Up: If you will be using Step Up for Students to cover the cost of class, please proceed to the checkout and use code “stepup”. This will reserve your spot for the class. Payment can be made directly through the EMA marketplace. Search for “Gulf Coast Scholars” and select the correct amount. Sarah Dibeler, a Florida native, is a dedicated educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Florida Gulf Coast University. With six years of experience working with children and three teaching endorsements, Sarah is committed to creating enriching learning environments that inspire young minds to thrive. Passionate about personalized instruction, she believes in empowering students to reach their full potential.

Tiani Rosado is a painter and versatile artist based in Fort Myers, Fl. Tiani’s artwork is known for it’s bright colors and dream – like subjects. When she is not showcasing her artwork at local shows and galleries, she is teaching classes for the youth. With a background in education and 8 years of experience making and selling her artwork, Tiani provides the perfect safe space to create, have fun, and learn something new about art.
