Bats, Books, and Beyond is a fun, hands-on adventure where young learners explore the fascinating world of bats through stories, creativity, and science! Students will enjoy a special read-aloud of Stellaluna, create a bat-themed craft, and participate in a hands-on Bat Lab where they’ll learn more about these amazing nocturnal animals.

In this class, students will:

  • Enjoy an engaging read-aloud of Stellaluna while practicing listening and reading comprehension skills.
  • Learn fascinating facts about bats, including their habitats, diets, behaviors, and unique adaptations.
  • Participate in a hands-on Bat Lab to explore how bats live and survive in the world around them.
  • Create a fun bat-themed craft while expressing their creativity and making connections to the story.
  • Build observation, critical thinking, and science skills through hands-on exploration.
  • Practice communication and vocabulary skills as they discuss what they discover about bats.
