STEM (Virtual)

STEM Class is a fun, hands-on learning experience designed for students ages 5–10 to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through exciting experiments, challenges, and creative projects. This engaging class encourages young learners to ask questions, think critically, and discover how STEM concepts connect to the world around them.

In this class, students will:

  • Explore age-appropriate science, technology, engineering, and math concepts through hands-on activities.
  • Participate in fun experiments and STEM challenges that encourage curiosity and discovery.
  • Practice critical thinking and problem-solving by designing, testing, and improving their ideas.
  • Explore basic engineering concepts through building, creating, and experimenting with different materials.
  • Develop early math skills through counting, measuring, sorting, patterns, and other hands-on activities.
  • Make observations, ask questions, make predictions, and explore cause and effect.
  • Work independently and collaboratively while developing communication and teamwork skills.
  • Build confidence and creativity by discovering that mistakes and experimentation are an important part of learning.

Perfect for curious young scientists, STEM Class gives students the opportunity to explore, experiment, build, and discover while developing important problem-solving and critical-thinking skills in a fun and engaging environment!

Days and Times: Thursdays beginning October 15th 12:45-1:45pm

 

Cost Per Class: $135 for 4-weeks OR $150 for 4-weeks (Supplies included)

Payment can be made directly through the EMA marketplace. Search for “Gulf Coast Scholars” and select the correct amount. Please note that registration and payment must be submitted before the class begins.

Sarah Dibeler, a Florida native, is a dedicated educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Florida Gulf Coast University. With six years of experience working with children and three teaching endorsements, Sarah is committed to creating enriching learning environments that inspire young minds to thrive. Passionate about personalized instruction, she believes in empowering students to reach their full potential.

Tiani Rosado is a painter and versatile artist based in Fort Myers, Fl. Tiani’s artwork is known for it’s bright colors and dream – like subjects. When she is not showcasing her artwork at local shows and galleries, she is teaching classes for the youth. With a background in education and 8 years of experience making and selling her artwork, Tiani provides the perfect safe space to create, have fun, and learn something new about art.
